State Senator Dianna J. Duran has unique qualities that will serve New Mexico well as the next Secretary of State. Dianna began her career in the Otero County Clerk's office in 1979 and worked there for 25 years. She served two terms as Otero County Clerk from 1988-1992. She is currently serving Senate District 40, representing Otero and Doña Ana Counties, in the State Senate. First elected in 1992, she is now in her fifth term.
